Norway Royal Salmon (NRS) reports an operational EBIT before depreciation of offshore equipment of MNOK 133 for the first quarter of 2022 and EBIT per kg of NOK 20.65. Corresponding figures for the same quarter last year were MNOK 60 and NOK 6.40.

owned by NRS was converted to green licences, giving NRS a total of 18 green licences.
NRS's green licences have several conditions and contribute to develop the
aquaculture industry towards a more sustainable production. One of the
conditions was to produce sterile fish with triploid salmon. In collaboration with the Institute of Marine
Research and other professional institutions, NRS has for many years made a
significant effort to develop and improve the production of triploid salmon. One
of the experiences with triploid salmon is that it seems to be more exposed to
bacterial and viral diseases.
Norway Royal Salmon strengthens its efforts to limit the use of soybean from rain forest regions in the aquaculture industry.
Norway Royal Salmon opens a brand new feeding facility in Tromsø for its fish farms in Northern Norway.
Norway Royal Salmon is constructing one of the world´s largest smolt production plants in the world.
The new facility is located in Karlsøy, not far from the arctic city Tromsø in Norway. It will be raised in four stages, the first of which is soon to be completed. It will contain space for hatching and feeding, in addition to administration offices.
Norway Royal Salmon ASA (NRS): Distribution of dividend
We refer to the announcement on 4 June 2020 of the decision made by the Annual General Meeting of Norway Royal Salmon ASA to distribute dividend. The dividend was distributed today. Total distribution of treasury shares is 449 545 shares. After the distribution, NRS owns 653 398 treasury shares, representing a total of 1.50 per cent of the share capital of the Company.

In the first quarter of 2019, the Group's credit limit increased from NOK 1 400 million to NOK 2 000 million. It is NOK 400 million of this credit limit that is now converted to a green loan. The Directorate of Fisheries has today granted 7.68 development licenses (5,990
tonnes MAB) for the development of Arctic Offshore Farming.
The licenses are a recognition of a long and good development process in which NRS, Aker ASA and Aker Solutions have developed a semi-submersible offshore fish farm designed for harsh areas.

Norway Royal Salmon (NRS/ the Company) has registered that the distributed "Share Exercise 2015 form (Aksjeoppgave)" from the Norwegian Tax Authorities, related to the tax liability for the portion of the dividend paid in 2015 as dividend shares, does not treat the taxation of dividend shares in accordance with how NRS have perceived the tax regulations. NRS's assessment is that the portion of the dividend received as dividend shares is not taxable dividend, while the part of the dividend that is paid as cash is taxable dividend.
Norway Royal Salmon ASA (NRS) and Aker ASA (Aker) today submitted a joint application for development licenses for the farming of salmon. Together, the companies have developed a new offshore aquaculture farming concept that facilitates sustainable growth in areas that the aquaculture technology thus far has not been able to exploit.
Norway Royal Salmon ASA ("NRS") has today entered into an agreement with
Botnhamn Fisk AS to acquire 135 shares in Nord Senja Laks AS ("NSL"),
corresponding to 33.3 % of the outstanding shares in NSL for a cash
consideration of NOK 70 million (the "Transaction"). Following the Transaction,
NRS will own 100 % of the shares in NSL.
Norway Royal Salmon ASA (NRS) received today ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) certification for five of our sites. The sites are Mortensens, Næringsbukta, Klubben, Lille Kvalfjord and Store Kvalfjord in NRS Finnmark AS
