Norway Royal Salmon opens a brand new feeding facility in Tromsø for its fish farms in Northern Norway.
Norway Royal Salmon is constructing one of the world´s largest smolt production plants in the world.
The new facility is located in Karlsøy, not far from the arctic city Tromsø in Norway. It will be raised in four stages, the first of which is soon to be completed. It will contain space for hatching and feeding, in addition to administration offices.

Norway Royal Salmon ASA (NRS) and Aker ASA (Aker) today submitted a joint application for development licenses for the farming of salmon. Together, the companies have developed a new offshore aquaculture farming concept that facilitates sustainable growth in areas that the aquaculture technology thus far has not been able to exploit.
Norway Royal Salmon ASA ("NRS") has today entered into an agreement with
Botnhamn Fisk AS to acquire 135 shares in Nord Senja Laks AS ("NSL"),
corresponding to 33.3 % of the outstanding shares in NSL for a cash
consideration of NOK 70 million (the "Transaction"). Following the Transaction,
NRS will own 100 % of the shares in NSL.
